Did you know that heat pumps offer both a heating and a cooling solution for Arizona homes? From Phoenix to Mesa and Chandler, the Ideal Energy team designs, installs, and services heat pump systems.
Heat pump technology innovations have allowed them to grow in popularity in Arizona--and for good reason! Our heat pumps provide efficient heating and air conditioning to your entire home, powered by electricity.
What is a Heat Pump?
Air-source heat pumps move heated air to or away from where it is needed, depending on the space conditioning needs of your home. When it is cold outside, heat pumps extract heat and deliver it inside your home. During warm weather, the heat pump extracts the heat and removes it from your home. Heat pumps consist of an air handler inside the house and an outdoor unit that is similar to an AC system.
An Energy Efficient HVAC System
Trane heat pumps are a reliable and energy-saving way to heat and cool your home. This high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment is a great fit for our hot Arizona climate. Because the systems move heat instead of generating it, they are more energy efficient and cost-effective.
What Does SEER Mean?
SEER is the efficiency rating of an AC unit, and it stands for "seasonal energy efficiency ratio." The higher the SEER value, the more efficient the unit. Every AC unit and heat pump has this rating, and it is determined in a controlled laboratory setting installed to the highest quality of standards. Once installed in your home, many different factors determine at what SEER your heat pump will perform.
