Official Home Energy Rating
With this option, the customer will receive an official home energy rating (HERS) for the ENERGY STAR homes program, energy efficient mortgages and energy improvement mortgages. This rating is compared to a reference home on the HERS scale where the home is compared to a rating of 85 or lower. If your home is at 85 or below, it can qualify to receive the ENERGY STAR label, which in turn, will add value to your home in the long run.
Our Official Home Energy Rating allows homebuyers with Energy Improvement Mortgages or Energy Efficient Mortgages to easily compare the energy efficiency of multiple homes that they are considering buying.
